Meet Dr. Kyle Wagner and Alexis Wagner - the husband and wife team committed to providing expert physical and occupational therapy directly in your home. At Functional Homes & Bodies, your care is guided by two compassionate, highly trained clinicians dedicated to helping individuals move better, live independently, and feel confident in their daily lives. Together, Kyle and Alexis bring a holistic, whole-body approach to therapy. Their combined backgrounds in neurological rehab, sports medicine, aging in place, and functional home design allow them to provide truly comprehensive in-home care. They don't just focus on recovery, they help build a lifestyle around independence, confidence, and long term well-being.
Kyle is a licensed physical therapist that has been practicing physical therapy for over five years helping patients restore mobility, improve function, and return to the activities they love. His experience is primarily in outpatient therapy and home health where he has served clients of all ages and populations.
He is certified in dry needling and has a strong passion for sports medicine where he has helped athletes and active individuals focus on injury recovery, performance, and long-term prevention. Each treatment plan is tailored to the indivdual, going above and beyond to ensure his clients not only meet their goals, but feel confident and empowered in their journey towards improved health and function.
Kyles approach to care is professional, respectful, and compassionate. He takes the time to listen, explain treatment plans clearly, and ensure each client feels supported every step of the way.
Alexis is a licensed occupational therapist with advance post-graduate training and specialty certifications including recognition as a Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) thearpist. Her professional experience is rooted in helping individuals maximize independence and function through evidence-based treatment.
She has pursued extensive studies in aging in place, with a focus on how thoughtful interventions can keep people active, safe, and engaged in their homes and communities - ultimately reducing unnecessary time and costs spent in doctors office, hospitals, or long-term care facilities.
Recently, Alexis has decided to expend her expertise by studying residential interior design, where she will combine clinical knowledge with aesthetic vision. Her passion lies in creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also functional, safe, and empowering for all stages of life.
By blending design with healthcare principles, she aims to support people in living independently and fully - without sacrificing style or comfort.
